Terms of Service

Last updated: March 10, 2026

1. Scope and Operator

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the waitlist service available at this website (the "Service"). The Service is operated by:

Christoph Langer
Private individual
Germany
Email: legal@mail.use-synk.com

By submitting your email address to join the waitlist, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not submit your information.

2. Description of the Service

The Service allows you to request inclusion on a waitlist for a planned product launch. Waitlist registration uses a double opt-in process and is completed only after confirmation through the email sent to the submitted address.

Registration on the waitlist does not constitute a contract of purchase, subscription, or any other binding commercial agreement. It does not guarantee access to any future product or service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By submitting your information, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Data Collected and Purpose

When you use the Service, your email address and limited technical request data required for operation and abuse prevention may be processed. Your email address is used for the following purposes:

  • To process and confirm your waitlist registration.
  • To keep your place on the waitlist and notify you when the product launches.
  • To send you updates, product news, and promotional communications related to the upcoming service.
  • To contact you for feedback, surveys, or user research related to the product (e.g. to improve the service before or after launch).

You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting the operator directly (see Section 9).

The processing of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable German and European data protection law (GDPR).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your email address is stored until one of the following occurs:

  • The product launches and you are transitioned to a registered user account (subject to separate terms at that time).
  • You request deletion of your data.
  • The project is discontinued — in which case all collected email addresses will be permanently deleted.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. In particular, no guarantee is made that:

  • The product will ever launch.
  • A place on the waitlist will result in access to any future product.
  • The Service will be continuously available.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for slight negligence is excluded, except where essential contractual obligations (wesentliche Vertragspflichten) are breached. In that case, liability is limited to foreseeable and typical damages.

The above limitation does not apply to liability:

  • for intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit),
  • for injury to life, body, or health,
  • under mandatory statutory liability provisions (including product liability law),
  • or where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we may also notify you by email where appropriate. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you may stop using the Service and request deletion of your data at any time.

9. Contact

For questions about these Terms, to unsubscribe, or to request deletion of your data, please contact:

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany, unless mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.

If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you retain the right to invoke the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

11. Additional Legal Information

Further provider information is available in the Imprint.
